Mission Statement

No longer borrowing the keys from gatekeepers; we’re cutting our own. Two Sparks was conceived after we realised we were spending more energy asking for permission than on writing and developing ideas ourselves.  Now, we are taking back creative control. 

As simplistic as it sounds: We want to get things made.

We are passionate about female stories, character-led dramas and comedy. We aim to respond to what we are seeing and feeling now and telling stories that we believe haven’t been told yet. Our ambition is to platform Irish artists and capture the nuance, diversity and humour of Irish storytelling.

Our ambition is to remain true to our authentic voice while reaching national and international audiences. We believe that filmmaking has the power to both entertain and activate change. Our paramount commitment is that the true heart of any idea is never compromised on its way to production.
